National Bus pass usage in London

I do not live in London but my national bus pass says I can obtain free travel on all local services in England. It does not exclude London so does this mean I am able to hop (figurative term) on and off London buses at will, free of charge, between 09:30 and 23:00hrs Mon to Friday?

Yes.
But ONLY the bus, it will not cover you for the tube.

for those who dont know you can use your pass 0930 to 2300 monday to friday and any time weekends and bank holidays on national express routes that are registered as local routes which is quite a few sections of englands routes rough guide is to say any coach ,and thsat included green line that stops are within 15 miles of each other
one local example to me is the 787 natioanl express cambridge to heathrow
the section cambridge to hemel hemspted is free and then all terminal points at heathrow
some drivers will just let you on outside those times
you have to show pass and they are supposed to write the details on a form[very small and quick] but again saome drivers do the form some do not
and again basically any coach route from any company if there stops are within 15 miles then the free pass should apply

Yes, I confirm that I have travelled after 0930 hours (Mon-Fri)on National Express services between Hitchen and Stansted Airport and Hitchen and Cambridge. I did however ask the driver if he had any spare seats and on both occasions the load factor was low between 35 and 40% so plenty of room for me.
